Do states prefer policies granting political or economic rights over time? Using policy scores from two indices from MIPEX, we can get a general estimate of whether a country has such a preference in awarding its non-citizen rights. Countries with pink focus on political integration and rights above economics, green represents economics over political integration, and blue countries reflect no preference between the two. This can inform how states view national membership and hence immigrant integration.
